Unite was to be a team communications app that would provide not only conversations, but also live data attachments. This mockup is from the third of three revisions that were made to the design. I learned a lot from the first MVP and subsequent design refreshes and folded that knowledge into this design, making it even better. It would have been great to see this app make it out of development - but regardless it was a great learning experience.

In 2014 I was hired by a boutique company in Canada to design a fashion app for them. The app would feature some of the world's greatest clothing labels and allow users to explore those labels, add them to their favorites, and shop for those clothing lines. Sadly funding issues prevented this amazing app from seeing the light of day.

What do I do during downtime? I come up with app concepts! This concept is for an app which interfaces with a refrigerator to display the stats of the fridge as well as allowing the user to add foods to the inventory. The app would have artificial intelligence that would estimate how long most foods last before they spoil and would provide notifications when a food item has turned into a science experiment. Yuck!

There's nothing more awesome than designing an app concept for something as serious as an emergency event, because you know it could save someone's life someday. This app concept was created to demonstrate how an app can not only inform a user of an emergency via an alert, but also provide a chat interface so they can converse with first responders, and with artificial intelligence coupled with GPS data the app can guide the user out of the area where the emergency is happening - getting the user to safe location.

Unite was to be a team communications app that would provide not only conversations, but also live data attachments. This mockup was the first design and was subsequently redesigned two additional times to improve the user experience and appearance of the app. It would have been great to see this app make it out of development - but regardless it was a great learning experience.
